With new streaming apps launching and merging, the industry is shifting again. Viewers want intimacy, smaller shows, niche stories, creative risk-taking. Big studios are realizing that audiences don’t just want more, they want meaning.

The future of streaming might not be about who has the biggest catalog, but who understands their audience best.
